Stakeholders have significantly invested in the adoption of EHR (electronic health records), among other interventions intended to improve care facility performance and patient outcome; however, the role of nurses in inpatient care is vital. To ensure that the needs of all nurses are attained or provided for, it is critical to have an effective nurse leader that can advocate for nurses’ needs.
